Holly Johnson is founder and President of Lanterna Consulting Inc. Holly brings to her clients the benefits gained from more than 25 years of experience in public and private sector organizations. Her areas of expertise include leadership team and advisory committee formation and development, organizational design and alignment, program/project management, strategic assessment, merger/acquisition integration, and complex interagency collaborations.
She has been engaged by clients for a wide range of challenges and growth opportunities. A highly effective facilitator and management consultant, she collaborates with individuals, teams and organizations to identify and design desired change as well as create and manage major initiatives to successfully transform plans into results.
Prior to founding her firm in 2002, Holly worked as a senior consultant for Renaissance Worldwide and Pareo, Inc. She began her career in the corporate offices of Lutheran Brotherhood, now Thrivent, where she held positions in marketing, field leadership development, and corporate social responsibility. In 2002, she was asked to return to Lutheran Brotherhood as a program management consultant to assist in the multi-year integration of two securities corporations into a new Thrivent Financial entity. She has designed and managed implementation for several integrations in other entities in both private and public sectors.
Holly holds BA degrees in Business Administration and Economics from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University.
Holly brings both the ‘art and science’ to her work with groups, meeting management, and projects. She is organized, prepared, and pays attention to details that promote success. At the same time, she is also highly responsive, adaptable, and does not get stuck in a preconceived plan. She can ‘take the pulse’ of a group, adapt as needed, and help the group move to a productive direction. I have seen her bring outstanding value to meetings with a few people to several hundred people.
