
Mike Wold has been a successful organizational development consultant, coach, teacher, and facilitator for over 15 years. He has worked on major reorganization and merger projects, coached executives and managers, and led workshops in leadership, change management, and project management. Prior to this, he gained over 25 years of management and project management experience in both the private and public sectors.
He is a former Financial Director and Assistant Commissioner for the Minnesota Department of Economic Security where he was responsible for the Information Technology, Human Resources, Finance, Administration, and Research departments in the agency. He is also a former Engineering and Program Management Director at Lockheed Martin Corporation where he led large engineering organizations and complex multimillion-dollar business units.
He served on the Eagan, Minnesota Advisory Planning Commission and has been active in state, county, city, nonprofit corporation and church-related voluntary service activities. He served on the board of directors for the Minnesota Chapter of Project Management Institute (PMI) and led their Chapter That Cares volunteer programs. Mike was a graduate-level instructor at both the University of Minnesota and the Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
Mike is a U.S. Navy veteran and currently serves as the volunteer Arizona Coordinator for the Institute for Healing of Memories. In this role he has coordinated weekend healing workshops for over 300 veterans suffering from the psychological and spiritual wounds of their military experience.
He holds an MS Degree in Mathematics from the University of Iowa and an MBA from the Carlson School of the University of Minnesota.
